Bluetooth won't pair

Problem: the Bluetooth button does not respond, or behaves erratically, or the Bluetooth connection can't be established with your device.

Possible solutions:

Bluetooth module is loose or not connected

  1. Power off the speaker.
  2. unscrew the Core assembly from the speaker, and gently lift it out.
  3. Check that the Bluetooth module is seated properly in its pin headers. If it is loose, make sure to align the pins correctly, and gently apply pressure to the back of the module to reconnect it. Be careful not to bend the pins on the module.

User interface module has a broken Bluetooth-button

If the above is not the issue, the issue may be the Bluetooth button itself. Try and swap the User Interface module. The procedure for accessing the UI module is shown in the video below.
